Phonocar at BusWorld 2025, Brussels

We are very proud — our accessories, and in particular our active safety systems, are installed by the leading European Body Builders.”.

A special thanks goes to INDCAR, a historic Spanish company specialising in the production of minibuses, presenting the Mobi, Wing, and Strada models, powered by diesel and compressed natural gas (CNG), and configured for school transport, tourism, and urban public transport.
Standing out on the INDCAR stand were the new fully electric buses built for Regione Lazio, which will soon be circulating on the streets of Rome.

On these special fittings, our BSIS Radar Systems (Blind Spot Information System) with 77GHz radar technology have been approved and installed. This advanced active safety solution is designed for commercial vehicles, buses, and industrial transport.
Thanks to 77GHz millimetre-wave radar sensors, the system continuously monitors the vehicle’s lateral and frontal blind spots in real time, detecting with great precision the presence of pedestrians, cyclists, motorcyclists, or other vehicles.

These solutions, compliant with European Regulations UNECE R151 and R159, as well as with the new GSR (General Safety Regulation) standards, contribute to preventing road accidents and protecting vulnerable road users, especially in urban environments.

In addition, Phonocar offers entertainment and infotainment systems dedicated to both public and private transport.

The importance of equipping vehicles designed for passenger transport with ever more advanced safety systems has become a priority for our cities — both to protect pedestrians and cyclists, and to comply with the new GSR2 safety regulations.

Phonocar has made major investments in recent years, developing an entire range of products fully compliant with GSR2 regulations.

A special thank you to the entire INDCAR team for their collaboration.
